The First Annual Crossroads Pumpkin Fest

A new fall festival is coming to the Foothills, bring fun and excitement back to downtown Statesville.

The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce has created the First Annual Crossroads Pumpkin Fest, to be held on November 1. Open to the public, this event will replace Iredell County’s last major downtown festival, Weekend in the Village.

Local businesses, non-profit organizations, art, craft and food vendors will have booths set up for lots of shopping and snacks. While parents are busy browsing, children can enjoy rides and games in the running area provided just for them.

Local growers and the NC Pumpkin Growers Association are contributing pumpkins for the numerous contests and autumn decorations. Downtown businesses will set up sidewalk sales where festival-goers can use “Pumpkin Fest Bucks” for discounts to their shops. The festival will run from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. For more information, contact the Chamber at 704-873-2892.
